X (Twitter) Shadowban Checker
Four checks that reveal exactly what a logged-out visitor sees on your account. No login, no password, no signup — and nothing leaves your browser.
Why you run the checks yourself: X publishes no shadowban status, and its API cannot see whether your replies are hidden from non-followers. Viewing your own account while logged out is the only way to observe that directly — so it is the most reliable check available, not a workaround.
Step 1 — open a logged-out window
Open a private or incognito window and go to x.com. Do not log in. Everything below assumes you are viewing your account exactly the way a stranger would.
Step 2 — run the four checks
Search ban
In a logged-out window, search X for from:yourhandle and open the Latest tab.
Do your recent posts appear in those results?
Search suggestion ban
Still logged out, start typing your @handle into the X search box and watch the dropdown.
Does your account appear in the suggestions dropdown?
Ghost ban
Still logged out, open a thread where you recently replied to someone else and look for your reply.
Is your reply visible in the thread?
Reply deboosting
In that same logged-out thread, check whether your reply sits behind a "Show more replies" link instead of in the main list.
Is your reply hidden behind "Show more replies"?
Catch restrictions before they cost you reach
